Placed Right. Configured Right. Connected Right.
Enterprise access point deployment for offices, warehouses, campuses, and high‑density environments — every AP positioned from survey data, not guesswork.
What is Access Point Deployment?
An access point (AP) is the bridge between wired network and wireless clients. But simply hanging an AP from the ceiling isn't enough. True enterprise‑grade Wi‑Fi requires:
- • Hardware selection matched to density and use case
- • Placement determined by RF heatmap, not convenience
- • Channel, power, and roaming parameters tuned for your environment
- • Security policies (WPA3, 802.1X) properly configured
- • PoE switch integration and cloud management setup
Best suited for:
- ✓ Corporate offices
- ✓ Warehouses & logistics
- ✓ Hospitals & healthcare
- ✓ Hotels & hospitality
- ✓ Campuses & education
“Most Wi‑Fi problems are not hardware problems — they are placement and configuration problems. The wrong AP in the wrong place, on the wrong channel, with the wrong power setting, causes dead zones, roaming failures, and congestion that no amount of rebooting will fix.”

AP Selection Guide
Choose the right access point for your environment.
| Use Case | Standard | Concurrent Clients | Recommended Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small office | Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) | Up to 30 | Entry |
| Enterprise office | Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) | Up to 100 | Mid‑range |
| High‑density | Wi‑Fi 6E | 200+ | High‑density |
| Outdoor / warehouse | Wi‑Fi 6 | Varies | Outdoor‑rated IP67 |
Our AP Deployment Process
End‑to‑end in‑house execution with certified engineers.
Survey
RF heatmap survey – coverage first, hardware second.
Selection
AP hardware selection based on density, budget, and environment.
Mounting
Ceiling, wall, or pole mounting with clean cable routing.
Configuration
SSIDs, VLANs, security, roaming policies.
Walk‑test
Validate coverage, roaming, and throughput.
Handover
Dashboard, documentation, training.
Indoor vs Outdoor APs
🏢 Indoor
- • Ceiling mount, recessed, or wall plate APs
- • Drop ceiling vs concrete slab mounting options
- • Co‑channel interference management
- • Aesthetic flush‑mount brackets
- • Temperature and humidity controlled environments
🌳 Outdoor
- • IP67‑rated APs – dust and water resistant
- • Pole and wall mount with grounding
- • Lightning protection and UV‑resistant housing
- • Mesh vs wired backhaul options
- • Wide operating temperature range
High‑Density Environments
Conference halls, auditoriums, trading floors, and hospital waiting rooms require a fundamentally different RF design — more APs at lower power, strict channel planning, and client load balancing.
✓ 120‑AP Wi‑Fi 6 Deployment
Enterprise Office, Bengaluru
4 floors · 120 APs · Wi‑Fi 6
Heatmap‑based placement eliminated all dead zones. 98% roaming success rate during peak hours. Completed in 6 days without disruption to live operations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you install APs in a false ceiling without making it look untidy?
Yes — we use in‑ceiling flush mount AP brackets and route PoE cabling above the ceiling tile, leaving only the AP face plate visible. We also paint or colour‑match where required.
Do you supply the hardware or just install?
Both. Layerix can supply and install, or install hardware you have already procured. We are OEM‑authorised for multiple brands including Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, TP‑Link Omada, and D‑Link.
What happens if the Wi‑Fi performance is poor after installation?
All Layerix deployments include a walk‑test and sign‑off. If post‑handover performance falls below the agreed spec, we return and resolve it at no charge within the warranty period.
Can you add APs to our existing network?
Yes, provided the existing controller or cloud platform supports the new AP model. We assess compatibility before recommending any hardware.
