About DNR Altitude

DNR Altitude is one of Bengaluru's most ambitious commercial developments — a Grade-A, 20-storey office tower with 1 million square feet of built-up area, located in Yeshwanthpur, one of the city's fastest-growing business corridors. The project is a joint development between DNR Group — one of Bengaluru's most respected real estate developers with 20 years of experience — and Hines, the international real estate firm behind landmark office spaces across the globe.

DNR Altitude is built to the highest global standards. The development targets WiredScore Platinum certification (resilient digital infrastructure), SmartScore Platinum pre-certification, IGBC Platinum green building certification, and WELL Gold certification for occupant wellbeing. With floor plates of 38,000–40,000 sq ft, a 9.3-metre double-height lobby, and 40,000 sq ft of curated retail and lifestyle amenities, it is designed to be the address of choice for forward-thinking enterprises in North-West Bengaluru.

A building targeting WiredScore Platinum demands network infrastructure built to match. That's where Layerix Networks came in.

The Scope

Layerix Networks was engaged to design and deliver the complete network infrastructure for DNR Altitude — across all 40 floors of the building, from the basement levels to the top floor. The scope covered everything a world-class commercial tower needs: structured cabling for every floor, enterprise WiFi with access points throughout, routers and managed switches forming the backbone, and — uniquely — temporary external CCTV cameras deployed across the entire construction site perimeter and then professionally removed once construction was complete.

This is not a one-time deployment. It is a multi-phase, ongoing engagement — with Layerix working in step with the construction programme as each floor is completed and commissioned. The relationship with DNR Altitude started in March 2025 and continues today.

Multi-Phase Delivery

Phase 1March 2025 — Structured Cabling & Construction Surveillance

Laying the Foundation — 40-Floor Structured Cabling + Temporary CCTV

Phase 1 was the foundation of everything. With the building still under active construction, Layerix deployed the structured cabling infrastructure across all 40 floors — working alongside the construction programme, coordinating with DNR Group and Hines's project teams to ensure every cable run was in place before walls were closed and floors were finished.

Simultaneously, Layerix deployed temporary external CCTV cameras across the entire construction site — covering the building perimeter, site entrances, material storage areas, and key access points. These cameras provided continuous security surveillance throughout the active construction period, protecting a ₹650 crore+ development site. Once construction was complete, Layerix professionally removed all temporary cameras and handed over a clean site.

40-Floor Structured Cabling

Cat6A copper cabling deployed floor-by-floor across all 40 levels — every run planned, dressed, and certified. Cable trays, raceways, and horizontal distribution all designed to TIA/EIA-568 standards.

Vertical Backbone Cabling

Fibre optic backbone running vertically through the building, connecting each floor's distribution switches to the main distribution frame in the building's network room.

Temporary Construction CCTV

External CCTV cameras deployed across the construction perimeter, site entrances, and key zones — providing round-the-clock security surveillance during the build phase.

Coordinated with Live Construction

All cabling work sequenced with the active construction programme — no rework, no conflicts. Layerix worked to the construction schedule to ensure infrastructure was ready floor by floor.

Phase 2October 2025 — WiFi, Routers & Switches

Active Network Layer — Enterprise WiFi, Routers & Managed Switches

With the cabling infrastructure in place, Phase 2 brought the network to life. Layerix deployed enterprise WiFi access points, routers, and managed switches — configuring the full active network layer for DNR Altitude's common areas, lobbies, amenity floors, retail spaces, and tenant-ready floors.

Enterprise WiFi Access Points

APs deployed at planned positions across all floors — coverage-mapped for the large 38,000–40,000 sq ft floor plates, with channel planning and RF design to eliminate dead zones.

Managed Switches

Enterprise-grade managed switches deployed at each floor's distribution point — with VLAN segmentation, QoS, and PoE for access points and other IP endpoints.

Router Deployment & Configuration

Core and distribution routers deployed and fully configured — routing policies, inter-VLAN routing, and WAN uplink configuration for a multi-tenant commercial building.

Phase 3December 2025 — OngoingActive

Commissioning, Testing & Tenant Readiness — Continuing Today

Phase 3 is the commissioning and tenant-readiness phase — and it is ongoing. As each floor is handed over to tenants and fit-out teams begin their work, Layerix continues to support the network infrastructure: testing, certification, commissioning, and adapting to tenant-specific requirements as they arise.

For a building targeting WiredScore Platinum — a certification that requires documented, resilient, and future-ready digital infrastructure — this phase is critical. Layerix provides the technical documentation, test reports, and network evidence that supports DNR Altitude's certification journey.

Construction-Phase CCTV — A Service Most Vendors Don't Offer

One of the distinctive elements of the DNR Altitude engagement was Layerix's deployment of temporary external CCTV cameras across the entire construction site. Protecting a large-scale commercial construction site — with expensive materials, equipment, and a workforce operating across multiple levels — requires purpose-built temporary surveillance infrastructure.

Layerix designed, deployed, and managed external cameras covering the building perimeter, site entrances, and sensitive areas throughout the construction period. Once construction was complete, all temporary cameras were professionally removed — leaving no trace and a clean handover.

This ability to handle both the temporary and permanent infrastructure requirements under a single partner — without the client coordinating multiple vendors — is the kind of capability that earns long-term trust on large-scale projects.

Why Network Infrastructure is Critical at DNR Altitude

DNR Altitude is not a standard commercial development. It is a building that targets WiredScore Platinum — one of the world's most rigorous benchmarks for digital infrastructure in commercial real estate. WiredScore evaluates the quality, resilience, and future-readiness of a building's connectivity infrastructure. Achieving Platinum requires every aspect of the network — cabling, routing, wireless, and redundancy — to meet exacting standards.

The enterprises that will occupy DNR Altitude — drawn to its Grade-A specification, Yeshwanthpur location, and proximity to metro and transport links — will expect the network to be invisible. It should just work, at gigabit speeds, with no dead zones, no single points of failure, and complete documentation.

Layerix was chosen to deliver that infrastructure — and the ongoing engagement reflects DNR Group and Hines's confidence that it is being delivered to exactly that standard.

"DNR Altitude is the kind of project that defines what network infrastructure should look like in Grade-A commercial real estate. 40 floors. Three phases. One trusted partner. That's what Layerix is built for."
